This project consists of the repaving and restriping of West Main Street from Grayson Turnpike (near Grayson’s Restaurant) to 12th Street (near Food City). The “restriping” would consist of changing pavement markings for travel lanes and parking arrangements. The project would reduce travel lanes from two lanes in each direction to one lane each direction, improve parking width, include bicycle lanes and include center turn lane.
