HONORING WYTHEVILLE'S HOMETOWN HEROES
“This will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave”
Downtown Wytheville Incorporated and the Town of Wytheville, in consultation with VFW Post 2719 and American Legion Post 9 is bringing a Veterans Banner Program to Downtown Wytheville. The program aims to honor living or deceased veterans and active duty military members by displaying banners that feature service members throughout Downtown. Families, businesses, and individuals are able to sponsor banners and choose a special U.S. veteran or active duty service member to honor. The banners will be displayed for the entire month of November for three consecutive years and the sponsor will receive the banner as a special keepsake at the end of the display period.
