TOWN OF WYTHEVILLE BUSINESS LICENSES EXPIRE March 1, 2018. Licenses are due and payable on or before March 1, 2018. Persons and firms conducting businesses or professions without the necessary business license after March 1, 2018, will be subject to penalties, interest and summons provided for in the Town Ordinance.
Licenses are payable at the Municipal Office. The municipal office hours are from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. If there are any questions, please feel free to call during regular business hours. The phone number is 223-3333.
Due to the President’s Day holiday, the refuse collection in the Town of Wytheville for Monday, February 19, 2018, will be made on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. The normal collection scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2018, will be made on that day.

The Wythe County Historical Society (WCHS) would like to invite all 12th grade history classes to participate in an essay contest. One winner will be chosen from each school and will receive a $250 award and the essay will be published in the WCHS Review’s spring edition. The winners will also be given a one year complimentary membership to the Society. Winning essays will be chosen based on content, clarity, and originality.
